The blueberry extract is produced from the fruit Vaccinium myrtillis. These are small fruits rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Specifically, the blueberry contains various elements such as tannins, sugars, mineral salts (calcium, phosphorus, iron, sodium, and potassium), flavonoids, vitamins A, C, and group B, and myrtillin, a pigment with strong antioxidant qualities.
Blueberries are also known for being a valid aid in improving circulation and strengthening capillaries. Specifically, they are good for capillaries because they support connective tissue, providing greater vascular tone, limit the formation of free radicals, and inhibit platelet aggregation.
The blueberry extract is present in three Luma products:
the face serum, the anti-age face cream, and the Light body cream.
The blueberry extract has been included in Lumea cosmetics because, as mentioned, it offers many benefits:
- it has a soothing action on delicate skin prone to redness, protecting its balance, strengthening its natural defenses, and improving its appearance.
- it is useful for counteracting premature skin aging thanks to the presence of vitamins (A, group B, C, PP) and minerals (calcium, sodium, phosphorus, potassium) which give the blueberry extract important antioxidant properties.
- it is an important ally for circulation, stimulating microcirculation, and protecting capillaries.
- it helps to solve the problem of dark circles since they are a blemish mainly due to microcirculation issues.
If you want to counteract dark circles and/or fragile and prominent capillaries on the face, use the face serum and anti-age face cream, morning and evening, accompanying the application with a gentle massage.
If the prominent and fragile capillaries are instead on the legs, we recommend Leggera, our face cream that protects your skin thanks to the blueberry extract.
